measure continuously total hemoglobin, oxygen content, carboxyhemoglobin, and methemoglobin, as well as provide Measure-through Motion and Low Perfusion pulse oximetry for oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, perfusion index, and pleth variability index (PVI). Respiration rate monitoring is done through an acoustic sensor (RRa) or via the plethysmograph waveform (RRp).
